John M. Millirons, O.D.

Dr. John Millirons is a native of Oklahoma and was born and raised in Duncan, Oklahoma. He graduated from Oklahoma State University in Stillwater, Oklahoma with a Bachelor of Science in Physiology. He studied optometry at Northeastern State University Oklahoma College of Optometry where he earned his Doctorate of Optometry. Following his doctorate, Dr. Millirons went on to complete an optometric residency in “Advanced Diagnosis and Therapeutics of Ocular Disease” at Triad Eye Medical Clinic and Cataract Institute in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Dr. Millirons went on to obtain his Board Certification and is a Diplomate of the American Board of Optometry.

Community Service and Leadership
Dr. Millirons is active in the community of Stillwater and the state of Oklahoma. He is an active Rotarian and has served as President, Club Administrator and Treasurer of the Stillwater Centennial Rotary Club. Dr. Millirons is a graduate of the Leadership Stillwater program and is a member of Stillwater Young Professionals.

He has served consistently as a volunteer since the inception of the Special Olympics Lions Club International Opening Eyes (SOLCIOE) program, held annually for Special Olympics athletes on Oklahoma State University’s Stillwater campus. Dr. Millirons also volunteers consistently with Remote Area Medical (RAM) Volunteer Corps to provide for the essential eye care needs of Oklahomans.

He has also participated in various legislative activities at the Oklahoma state capital to help promote the ocular health of the citizens of Oklahoma.
