Cockrell Eyecare Center provides acute care for such things as corneal and/or conjunctival foreign bodies, abrasions, chemical injuries, welding burns, infections, sudden loss or decreased vision, flashes and floaters and contact lens related problems. Eye injuries and infections are best handled immediately. If care is delayed, recovery is more difficult and sometimes permanent eye damage can occur. Our doctors are available "on-call" 24 hours a day, seven days a week, to protect your eyesight. Call us at any time during regular office hours if you think an eye emergency is occurring to schedule an appointment or we do accept walk-ins on an emergency basis.
