Dr. Miller was born in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma in 1962. He graduated from Putnam City West High School in 1980. After graduation he attended the University of Oklahoma where he obtained a BS in Microbiology. He received his Optometry degree from Northeastern State University College of Optometry in Tahlequah, Oklahoma in 1988. Following his doctorate, Dr. Miller completed a one year residency in "Advanced Diagnosis and Therapeutics of Ocular Disease". He practiced in Tulsa, Oklahoma for ten years in two primary surgical practices that emphasized medical, surgical and laser eyecare.
Dr. Miller has been in private practice in Stillwater, Oklahoma since December, 1998. He is a member of the American Optometric Association, The Oklahoma Association of Optometric Physicians, and the International Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery. He was awarded the Young OD of the Year Award in 1993 by the Oklahoma Association of Optometric Physicians. He received the NSU College of Optometry alumni of the year award in 1994.
He served as President of the Oklahoma Association of Optometric Physicians in 2002-2003. Dr. Miller has served as a member of several Oklahoma Association of Optometric Physicians committees including Future Technology in Eyecare, Government Relations, and Childrens Coalition Task Force.
Dr. Miller is active in the community. He is past president of the Pawnee Rotary Club and currently serves on the Pawnee Hospital Foundation. He is married to Marie Miller and they have 3 children.
